I wasn't sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised. For me the highlights were the yard cottage and smokehouse but there is a lot more to see in this well laid out museum which is a hidden treasure.

This is a really interesting museum with much local history in words, pictures and artefacts. The old fishermen’s cottages are fascinating and you can finish your visit with a lovely cup of tea and a piece of delicious farmhouse cake. The staff are helpful, and knowledgeable and happy to help I& required. If you’re on Kings Lynn, don’t miss it. Thank you.

I love visiting museums. This is a small one but there is a lot to see and read. The history of Kings lynn is portrayed through out this museum.I could spend all day just wandering around looking and reading about Kings lynn. Don't hurry round this museum there really is a lot to see. Highly recommended.
